There were few moments of note and no goals in the midweek matchday in Serie D. Oddo's Rossoneri were held to a 0-0 away draw by Casatese Merate following a cagey and tense affair. We currently have eight points, which puts us in second place for now. Five changes to the starting XI from Sunday's comeback win against Chievo weren't enough to break the hosts down, as they recorded their second straight draw.
Oddo's side are still unbeaten this season, with four wins and two draws in the league and cup. Following his First-Team debut against Lecce on Tuesday, David Odogu got more minutes today, as he started and played the full 90. Milan Futuro's next game is against Scanzorosciate at the Stadio Chinetti in Solbiate - another chance to see our youngsters at work and follow their progress.

The hosts started on the front foot, as they racked up a string of corners, though they failed to trouble Matteo Pittarella in the Milan Futuro goal. In the 20th minute, the Rossoneri's goalkeeper sent Balentien on his way on the counter. The Dutchman dribbled past his man but sent his shot into the side netting. The Rossoneri began to control possession and tried to get up the pitch again in the 37th minute: Balentien found Sia, who failed to bring the ball under his spell and let a big chance go begging. There weren't any other chances in the first half: 0-0 at the break.
Milan Futuro were at it again after the break, as Balentien played in Perina in the box, but his shot was deflected and then saved by Bragotto (50'). Oddo shuffled the pack on 55 minutes, sending on Perrucci and Asanji for Perina and Cappelletti. But Balentien remained the Rossoneri's chief threat with a pair of blocked shots. 26 minutes into the half, Domnitei and Ossola entered the fray, but the hosts looked the likelier of the two sides after that, threatening first through Goffi (77') and then a Milani header - saved by Pittarella (82'). We have a huge chance with one minute of normal time left, as Sia made use of the goalkeeper mistiming his rush off his goalline, only for Asanji to send it over the bar from inside the 6-yard box.
