MILAN FUTURO v CALDIERO TERME: MATCH PREVIEW

A new Serie D campaign is about to begin. Milan Futuro is set for its second season in the division, after reaching the playoffs last term. A young, refreshed squad will open their 2026/27 campaign against Caldiero Terme in Solbiate Arno on Sunday, September 6 at 3:00 PM CEST. Here is our Match Preview ahead of the big kick-off:

The young Rossoneri have already experienced plenty this season, from disappointment in the Coppa Italia to an impressive display in the U21 Premier League International Cup. The summer has also brought a change in the dugout, with Sergio Navarro taking charge and introducing new ideas and methods that the squad is still working to absorb. The group has been refreshed in the transfer market too, building on a solid core while adding new faces such as Guernier as part of the Club’s wider development project. The Diavolo will now look to continue that growth, one game at a time.

LATEST FROM CALDIERO TERME
The Veneto side has opted for continuity, with Coach Soave extending his contract and Lonzar continuing in his role as head of the youth sector. Captain and leading scorer Zerbato has also remained with the club. Caldiero Terme finished 11th in 2025/26, firmly in mid-table, and often showed flashes of brilliance in attack. In the two meetings with Milan Futuro last season, they won 2-0 away from home before losing the return fixture 3-0.
