CHIEVOVERONA vs. MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW

Milan Futuro's first away trip of the month takes them to Verona to face one of the top teams in Serie D Group B, Chievo, whom they met three times (and beat twice) last season. It will be a demanding test for Sergio Navarro's side, who kick off at 3:00 pm CEST on Sunday, October 18th. Here is our Match Preview.

LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO
Our first season in the division ended in Verona last May, and the city will host the next stop in an unusual week for Milan Futuro. An injury to the referee during the first half of the rescheduled match against Piacenza forced the match to be postponed again. The game will resume on Wednesday, November 4th, at 2:30 PM CET, while the away fixture against Pavonese has also been postponed and will take place at the end of the month, on October 28th at 5:30 PM CET. As a result, Milan Futuro have played relatively few minutes recently compared with an opponent whose schedule has been much more consistent. Long-term absentees Castiello, Di Siena and Karaca remain unavailable, but the Coach has plenty of options elsewhere.

LATEST FROM CHIEVOVERONA
Chievo has made a positive start to the season and is coming off a draw in the historic city derby against Virtus. Aside from their Matchday 7 fixture, Coach Marco Didu's side has won five of its other six matches and lost once, 2-0 away to surprise league leader Nibbiano & Valtidone. The wins include a convincing 5-0 victory over Tritium in their most recent home match. October has also brought ChievoVerona's elimination from the Coppa Italia Serie D at the hands of Brusaporto, but their perfect home record tells its own story about the challenge ahead. The squad combines youth and experience, particularly in attack.
