A gala evening to celebrate 120 years of AC Milan together. It was a special night at the Hotel Principe di Savoia, where the Club was founded in 1899. Along with the team, the Rossoneri's directors, Club employees and many Diavolo legends, the grandchildren of our founding father Herbert Kilpin were in attendance. "A win against Sassuolo certainly would have made this night of celebration all the more sweeter," said Chief Football Officer Zvonimir Boban from the stage.
However, there was still a desire to pay homage to the Club's "incredible history consisting of passion, sacrifice, loyalty and heart." Paolo Maldini also spoke on stage alongside AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni, CEO Ivan Gazidis and Giorgia Palmas, a familiar face from Milan TV and the presenter for the evening.

Past, present and more: Paolo Scaroni's words embraced history and also looked to the future: "You can't hide from the future, it's around the corner. This evening, I see History in front of my eyes. As President of AC Milan, I promise that I'll give absolutely everything to keep following this glorious path." There's pride in being a Milanista: "For me, it’s a great honour and responsibility to be the President of the team I support at a time when we're celebrating such an important anniversary," the President continued. "Over the past 120 years, AC Milan has become an icon of world football. This is a legendary team that has won 48 trophies – including seven Champions League triumphs – and mesmerised fans and enthusiasts throughout the world." Yesterday, today and always: happy birthday, AC Milan!
