THINGS ARE HEATING UP IN SEPTEMBER

August was all about getting up to speed; September is when things really start to get serious. The coming weeks bring a series of unmissable fixtures for our teams, starting with this weekend's triple-header between AC Milan and Juventus. Let's take a closer look at what's in store throughout the month.

MEN'S FIRST TEAM
Amorim's side's perfect start will be put to the test in one of the most eagerly anticipated fixtures of the season, against a Juventus side who have also taken six points from their opening two games. Once the Bianconeri hurdle is cleared, and before the long international break at the end of the month, comes the first three-game week of the season: sandwiched between Lazio and Lecce is our European opener, against Benfica, a club that was also home to Moreira, Ramos and, of course, Coach Amorim.

WOMEN'S FIRST TEAM
Bakker's side also begin the month away to a Juventus team with a perfect record. Here, however, it's the Women's Cup, and the clash between the Bianconere and the Rossonere is a straight knockout tie: the winners book their place in the semi-finals and keep their hopes alive of lifting the first trophy of the season. A mouth-watering appetiser ahead of the main course: the league. That gets under way at the end of the month away to determined newly promoted side Como 1907, who AC Milan have already beaten in the Cup.

MILAN FUTURO
The disappointment of the Coppa Italia exit is behind them, and Navarro's young Rossoneri are ready for a busy month. Before a league schedule featuring four games in two weeks, however, comes the exciting start to the Premier League International Cup. And what a setting: Goodison Park in Liverpool, against Everton U21. Third time's the charm: like the Men's and Women's first teams, Renna's side also begin the month against Juventus. This time, though, the setting is the familiar surroundings of the PUMA House of Football. Two challenging fixtures follow, against sides who have often proved difficult opponents in recent seasons: Hellas Verona and Roma. Then comes the long international break.
