Allegri's side, who won against Lazio in their last match at San Siro, have played well and displayed constant growth, despite absences. Youssouf Fofana, Rafael Leão and Santiago Gimenez will all miss tomorrow's game through injury. Zachary Athekame is available after recovering from his injury.
Coach Allegri on the eve of the match: "The win in Turin gave us energy and enthusiasm, but the danger is around the corner and we need to raise our attention even more because of this. Sassuolo come to San Siro after a convincing win over Fiorentina on the last matchday in the league. Grosso's side have proven to be organised while allowing themselves to secure big wins: as mentioned, the win against the Viola and then in Bergamo against Atalanta and a 1-0 home win over Lazio. Alternating good performers with moments of difficult, the Neroverdi, who have returned to the top-flight following a year in Serie B, have confirmed themselves as a wildcard bet in the league. Captain Domenico Berardi will not feature, with 11 goals scored against his favourite victim, AC Milan.
Fabio Grosso, who won't be in the dugout due to suspension, spoke: "We're against the team who are top of the league, with good players and a brilliant Coach. We'll need to raise our level to try and remain in the match and do the things that we know we can do, when AC Milan allow us to".

On the occasion of Milan–Sassuolo, scheduled for 12:30 CET, San Siro will host a special and engaging Christmas Village, a Christmas-themed area designed to give Rossoneri fans a unique experience before the match. Inside the fan zone there will be activities for everyone: younger fans can have fun in a dedicated corner with face painting or enjoy moments of artificial snowfall, adding an enchanting touch to the pre-match atmosphere and recalling the magic of the holiday season. There will also be an area set up where fans can learn more about the social initiatives and projects supported by Fondazione Milan.
At the heart of the village, the main attraction will be a giant foosball table, allowing fans to challenge each other in matches of up to 11 vs 11. At the same time, visitors can try Subsoccer, also known as table football, which is played while seated and is suitable for all ages, or an arcade box featuring a wall with 30 illuminated buttons. Guests will be able to experience the thrill of waving the large flag used by the mascot Milanello during the reading of the lineups, and take souvenir photos in a winter-themed photobooth corner. And to make everything even more engaging, participants can try to win gadgets and official AC Milan merchandise through an instant-win contest: simply scan the QR code displayed in the fan zone to take part. A day of celebration, fun, and Rossoneri passion.
