A delegation of 20 young players from ASD Arquata Calcio, accompanied by the City Council and the team’s Coach, Berardino Camacci, were welcomed by AC Milan for a day dedicated to sport and Rossoneri passion. The day was promoted by Banco BPM as part of their framework of initiatives in support of the areas in central Italy hit by the earthquake in 2016.
Welcomed by the Club's Brand Ambassadors, Franco Baresi and Daniele Massaro, the youngsters, all aged between 10 and 15, were guided on a visit round Casa Milan before they headed to San Siro stadium for a tour. They then all stayed to watch AC Milan v Fiorentina, where they had the chance to see their favourite Rossoneri players up close.
Sport is something that brings us all together, ensuring that we don’t forget the past, but also helping us to look to the future with both confidence and optimism. It was in this spirit that Banco BPM, thanks to their partnership with AC Milan and its partners, wanted to organise this initiative, which was welcomed with enthusiasm by the Mayor of Arquata del Tronto, Aleandro Petrucci: "What the boys of Arquata experienced today is something that they will never forget. They had the opportunity to meet the champions of a team right at the centre of the history of Italian football, as well as the chance to watch a big game live. I’d like to thank Banco BPM for this extraordinary opportunity offered to our young people, who were given a much-needed source of enjoyment. I’d also like to thank AC Milan for the extraordinary welcome given to all of us.”
