It's set to be the second big match of the season for the Rossoneri following the derby which didn't go the right way. That's all the motivation needed to try and make this a great night. It won't be easy in Rome with Roma set to fight hard despite having a number of players out but Milan want to get back to winning ways, also to go level on points with the Giallorossi in the league. To get the three points would mean a huge amount for Stefano Pioli's side. Ahead of kick-off at 18:00 CEST, let's take a look at ten facts and figures ahead of the matchday nine fixture in Serie A at the Stadio Olimpico.

    DIRECT MATCH-UPS

1- The capital club are the side who Milan have won the most Serie A matches against (74). The Rossoneri have gone three unbeaten against the Giallorossi in Serie A (2 wins, 1 draw).

2- There have been 168 matches so far between Milan and Roma with the Rossoneri winning 74, the Giallorossi 44 and there have been 50 draws.

    FORM

3- The Rossoneri have won four of the last six away games (2 draws). That's as many away wins as in the previous 13 matches.

    GENERAL STATISTICS

4- Milan are the side with the most saved penalties in the top five European leagues in the 2019/20 season (three).

5- No side has conceded fewer goals (two) than Milan in the first halves of Serie A matches this season.

    PLAYER FOCUS

6- Krzysztof Piatek has scored a goal in all three of his appearances at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A.

7- Hakan Calhanoglu's next match will be his 100th appearance for Milan in all competitions.

8- Gianluigi Donnarumma is one match away from 150 in Serie A. He could become the third goalkeeper since 1994/95 to have played in at least 150 league matches for Milan after Dida and Christian Abbiati.

9- Alessio Romagnoli is the only Rossoneri player to have played all 720 minutes of the current Serie A campaign.
