Following the great derby win which sent the Rossonere through to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia, our girls are now preparing for the tenth match of the season. The rearranged matchday one fixture against Pink Bari still needs to be played but Ganz’s side will first face Hellas Verona away on Saturday and they beat Tavagnacco in their last gamne. Ahead of kick-off at 12:00 CET, here are five statistics for the match.
- Milan have won both of their two previous Serie A femminile matches against Verona, keeping clean sheets both times.
- Along with Pink Bari, Verona are one of the two current Serie A femminile sides who’ve never scored against Milan in the league.
- The Rossonere have scored in 13 of the last 15 Serie A away trips (won 9, drawn 3, lost 3). The side only failed to score in January 2019 against Fiorentina and February 2019 at Juventus.
- Laura Fusetti’s last Serie A goal and only one for Milan came back in February against Verona.
- Valentina Giacinti has scored three goals in her last two Serie A away matches against Verona. She hit two for Brescia in May 2018 and one for Milan in October of the same year.
