He’s come back to write another chapter in the history of the Rossoneri. There’s a great deal of curiosity, expectation and emotion about seeing Ibra back with AC Milan and in Serie A in general. Before seeing him back on the pitch, here are ten pieces of trivia linked to his time at the Diavolo and elsewhere.

- Zlatan Ibrahimović rejoins the Rossoneri after two seasons with Milan, including one where he was a key figure in the Club’s last Scudetto win in the 2010/11 season.

- The Swede is the player who has scored the most Rossoneri goals this decade (42), at least eleven more than any other player from this period.

- Milan are the side who Zlatan scored his most goals in a single Serie A season for (28 in the 2011/12 campaign) and the team where he provided the most assists (11 in the 2010/11 season).

- Only Gunnar Nordahl (35 goals in 1949/50) and 34 in 1950/51) has scored more goals than Ibrahimović (28 in 2011/12) in a single season for the Rossoneri.

- In the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons, Ibrahimović played 85 times for Milan across all competitions, scoring more than twice as many goals (56) and providing more assists (21) than any other teammate in this period.

- In two out of the four seasons in which the Diavolo have taken over 80 points in the three points for a win era, the Swede was a Rossoneri player.

- In the era of three points for a win (after 1994/5), no Milan player has a better average goals per game total in Serie A than Ibra.

- No player has scored more away goals in a single Serie A season (16 in 2011/12) than Zlatan who’s level with Ciro Immobile.

-  Since Zlatan Ibrahimović first played in Serie A, only Lionel Messi (78) and Cristiano Ronaldo (60) have scored more goals from outside the box in the top five European leagues.

- The Swedish forward has scored with six different sides in the Champions League (Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain), more than any other player in the competition.
