    StatsMarch 8th 2026

The best AC Milan performance of the season so far saw the Rossoneri light up the Olimpico with a huge 3-0 win at Lazio’s expense. A massive result which only serves as further evidence of the positive spell Coach Pioli’s boys are experiencing. Çalhanoğlu, Ibrahimović and Rebić all got their names on the scoresheet for Il Diavolo, and it’s these three names who star in the six biggest statistics from tonight’s fixture.

1- Tonight was the first time AC Milan have beaten Lazio with a 3+ goal margin at the Stadio Olimpico in the league since February 2009 (Pato, Kaká, Ambrosini, 0-3).

2- Zlatan Ibrahimović has converted all of his last 14 Serie A penalties; before tonight’s, the last was back in 2012 against Inter.

3- Only two players born after 1/1/1981 have scored at least four goals in all five of Europe’s Top 5 leagues: Zlatan Ibrahimović and Joaquin (Betis).

4- Our Swedish striker has scored five goals in his last seven Serie A encounters with Lazio.

5- Hakan Çalhanoğlu has been directly involved in four goals (two goals, two assists) in his last four Serie A appearances. Our Rossoneri no.10 has scored five goals in the current campaign, just one less than his best ever haul in Serie A (six goals in 2017/18).

6- Ante Rebić is the first AC Milan player to hit double figures for goals in all competitions this season: he’s netted nine goals in his last eleven Serie A appearances (four of these after coming off the bench). In fact, our Croatian has scored ten of AC Milan’s 31 goals in all competitions since January (32% of the total).
