6 FACTS ON AC MILAN V FLORENTIA

Every debut has a certain air of expectation, emotion, tension and importance. With over six months gone since they last played a competitive match - the last league campaign was suspended halfway through the season and never completed, the Rossonere are ready to get the new Serie A Femminile season undweray. They will host Florentia at Vismara; let's take a look at six fun facts pertaining to this opening-day fixture.

1- In the three past meetings between the two sides, the record is perfectly balanced in terms of results and goals scored (three apiece). In the most recent clash (November 2019), the Tuscan side took all three points.

2- For the first time ever, the Rossonere will play the first matchday of the season at home after two previous opening-day fixtures - which they won with out conceding - away from home (v Pink Bari and Roma).

3- AC  Milan are the only team not to have conceded a goal on the first matchday of the last two Serie A seasons (6-0 against Pink Bari and 3-0 against Roma).

4- Only Fiorentina (10) have scored more goals than AC Milan (9) on the first matchday of the last two top flight seasons.

5- Valentina Giacinti has scored the most opening-day goals (five) on the first matchday of the last two Serie A seasons. All of these have come away from home (v Pink Bari and Roma).

6- Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi has represented both sides. She scored eleven Serie A goals with the Neroverdi, while she is currently on three in a Rossonere shirt.
