Eight key stats from Thursday’s win at San Siro

AC Milan triumphed again on Thursday, with the Rossoneri coming back from two goals down to beat Celtic at San Siro. On a special night, the win gifted Milan qualification to the Europa League’s last 32. Here are eight key stats from the team’s fifth match in Group H: 

1- For the first time in either the Europa League or the Champions League, Milan has come back to win after going two goals down.
2- Since 2013/14, only Lionel Messi (36) has scored from free-kicks more than Hakan Çalhanoğlu (18) in all competitions among players competing in the top five European leagues.
3- There were only 124 seconds separating the goals scored by Çalhanoğlu and Castillejo.

4- Jens Petter Hauge has played a part in four goals in eight matches for Milan this season between Serie A and the Europa League (three goals and an assist). Three of which were against Celtic.
5- Brahim Díaz is Milan’s top scorer in the Europa League so far (three goals).
6- Samu Castillejo has scored in two successive matches in the Europa League for the first time in his career.
7- Alessio Romagnoli tonight made his 200th appearance for Milan in all competitions.
8- Franck Kessie tonight enjoyed appearance No.150 for the Rossoneri in all competitions.
