10 FACTS ON AC MILAN V CAGLIARI

From Cagliari to… Cagliari. AC Milan's first home fixture of the 2021/22 season will be against the same side they faced in their last match at San Siro in 2020/21. The upcoming clash against the Sardinians comes after the Diavolo's victory in their opener away to Sampdoria, while it will also see Rossoneri fans return to the stands. AC Milan v Cagliari, the Diavolo's second fixture of the 2021/22 Serie TIM season, will kick off at 20:45 CEST on Sunday. 1- AC Milan are the team that Cagliari have suffered the most defeats against in Serie A: the Rossoneri have emerged victories 43 times against the Sardinians, with 27 draws and eight defeats completing the picture. Tomorrow's showdown will be the 40th time that the sides have met at the home of the Rossoneri (W26, D10, L3).

2- AC Milan haven't conceded a single goal in their last five Serie A games against Cagliari. The last team the Rossoneri recorded more consecutive clean sheets against in the Italian top flight was Chievo in 2016 (seven).
