The main stats from the first leg of the semi-final

It was a tight 90 minutes of Derby-day football but it ended 0-0 between AC Milan and Inter in their third meeting of the season. The second leg - in April - will decide the outcome of the tie and who progresses to this year's Coppa Italia final. Here are the main stats produced by the first leg of this semi-final.

1- AC Milan and Inter have drawn each of their last four meetings at the semi-final stage of a knock-out competition (1-1 in the Coppa Italia in 1985, 0-0 and 1-1 in the Champions League in 2003, 0-0 tonight).

2- AC Milan have remained undefeated (W1 D2) for at least three games against Inter in the same season for the first time since 2004/05.

3- Fikayo Tomori has played his 50th game in all competitions with AC Milan. The English defender marked the occasion in the same fashion as his debut: a Derby in the Coppa Italia.

4- After the 1-1 draw in November in Serie A, AC Milan and Inter have drawn two derbies in a row hosted by Rossoneri in all competitions for the first time since 1992/93

5- AC Milan have remained unbeaten in eight of their last nine matches against Inter in matches in the Coppa Italia, Champions League and Supercoppa Italiana (W4, D4).

6- Starting from 2017/18, AC Milan are the side to have kept the most clean sheets in the Coppa Italia: 12, out of 18 games played.
