OFFICIAL STATEMENT: AC MILAN V FIORENTINA, TICKETS FOR TERZO ANELLO VERDE

At a security meeting held today to discuss AC Milan v Fiorentina (15:00 CEST on Sunday 1 May at San Siro), the GOS (Gruppo operativo sicurezza) has decided to cancel all tickets purchased for the "Terzo Anello Verde" sector for reasons of security and public order.

This new decision amends the guidelines that were previously put in place by the competent authorities regarding the match in question and which AC Milan had adhered to. The Club wishes to clarify that all the rules and regulations have been respected throughout the entire ticket selling process and that the correct and regular procedure has been applied to all previously sold tickets. 

In line with the ruling of the National Observatory for Sports Events (dated 20 April), which did not place any restrictions on the match in question, the Club put tickets for the "Terzo Anello Verde" on sale (a sector where 4,100 tickets are available and visiting fans are usually accommodated). As is standard practice, the Club gave the visiting team 24 hours of advance notice of tickets going on sale and subsequently received a response, with the reply from the visiting team stating that it had already passed on information to its own fans. No further requests were communicated by the offices of ACF Fiorentina.

Since then, the Club has been in constant dialogue with all the relevant authorities in charge and involved in the event, as well as with ACF Fiorentina, in order to manage any critical issues and ensure the health and safety of fans at the stadium.
Aware of the new situation, and with the health, safety and respect of all sports fans as its top priority, AC Milan acknowledges the new ruling and will immediately proceed to cancel and refund all the tickets in question.
In accordance with the authorities' new guidelines, Terzo Anello Green tickets will go on sale again, but they will only be available to fans of the visiting team exclusively on the Vivaticket online network (until 19.00 CEST, Saturday 30 April). The sale will be exclusively open to visiting fans with a valid ACF Fiorentina Club card issued by 28/04/2022.

The Club is working to get in touch with the fans who had purchased the tickets in the "Terzo Anello Verde" sector based on the contact details it its possession.
The Club asks all holders of cancelled tickets to not go to the stadium on Sunday, as their tickets are no longer valid to access San Siro.
Different refund methods will be applied according to how the tickets were purchased. In the next few days, the Club will share all necessary information and details on its website acmilan.com.
