The team returned to training at Milanello this afternoon after Coach Pioli granted the team two days off for recovery, with the squad meeting in the changing rooms at 14:30 CEST.
The session began with the standard warm-up using the ball out on the pitch, with the squad then splitting into two groups for a technical drill which was interrupted by a violent storm over the training centre grounds.

The group then moved onto the covered pitch for 40 minutes before heading back outside for more work on technique and fitness, alternating ball work with a series of shuttle runs along the touchline.
With this complete, the session was rounded off with a series of small-sided ball possession games on mini pitches, then one big game on the full pitch to finish.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 17 June, the team will train just once in the morning.
