MILANELLO: THE FINAL AND MOST IMPORTANT WEEK

On a warm and sunny day at Milanello, the team met for lunch before heading to the changing room to get ready for their return to work - after the day off given to the players by Stefano Pioli - to start preparations for Sassuolo v AC Milan.

The day's work began in the gym where the group activated their muscles. The starters from Sunday's game then did light recovery work inside, while the rest of the squad headed out onto the pitch. The latter group did a series of themed rondos and then a few drills working on possession of the football. In the meantime, the goalkeepers did specific work with their coaches. The session concluded with the usual game on a reduced pitch.

The plan for tomorrow is to train in the morning.
