The Rossonere lost out in the first leg of their Women's Coppa Italia semi-final on Wednesday afternoon. Played out at the Stadio Brianteo in Monza, which will also host AC Milan v Fiorentia on Sunday 17th at 12:30 CET, Juventus successfully completed a 2-1 comeback. It may be a negative result on paper, although there will still be all to play for on 17th April, when the Rossonere will be sure to give their all. Regrets may linger following Wednesday's defeat, particularly after Coach Morace's side took an instant lead through Alborghetti. The Bianconere soon responded and equalised just before the break through Bonansea, while the winner was scored in the second half by Caruso. However, while there may be disappointment now, this will be sure to disappear ahead of league action returning this weekend, when Milan will be looking to close the gap at the top.

MATCH SUMMARY
It couldn't have been a better start from Milan, as Alborghetti headed the hosts in front after just two minutes following a corner from Giugliano. Alborghetti then threatened once again in the 14th minute, although this time couldn't find the target with a header. Juve soon began to fight back, first threatening through Aluko from distance before Korenciova then kept out both Caruso and Bonansea. Six minutes before the interval Alborghetti was involved once again, although her effort was too weak. Milan were made to pay the price for missed chances just before half-time, as Bonansea equalised following a through ball from Aluko. The game's decisive goal was eventually scored in the 74th minute, with the winner stemming from a Pederson cross before Caruso fired home a volley. Despite late changes and a final push, the girls were unable to get back into the game and it ultimately finished 2-1.
