WORK RESTARTS AT THE VISMARA WITHOUT THE INTERNATIONALS

Training continues for the Women’s First Team. Following the friendly win against Cittadella and two days off, the side returned to the Vismara to get back to work ahead of the next match against Como.
The session featured some Under-17 players due to the large number of players away on international duty.
After warming up in the gym, the team headed out onto the pitch at 10:00 CEST to warm up with various technical drills on and off the ball with increasing intensity levels. After, there was 5-on-5 possession work while the goalkeepers trained separately.

In the second part of the sessions, the girls were divided into two groups for runs of different distances followed by themed drills on a reduced section of the pitch. The session ended with a 6-on-6 pitch on a small section of the pitch. After that, the team was visited by Rossoneri legend Serginho.
There are two more training sessions scheduled this week for tomorrow and Friday. On Saturday 31st August at 18:30 CEST, the side will play Como in a friendly at the Centro Sportivo Totò Caimi in Cantù.
