WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND, AC MILAN v INTER PREVIEW

The wait is over and the Rossonere are ready to return to the pitch after three weeks since their last appearance. The occasion is the third Derby of the season against Inter, scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 22 April at 12:30 CEST, at the PUMA House of Football. The Championship Round table sees both teams tied on 35 points, and this match presents a chance to catch Fiorentina in third place in the standings. Here is our preview of the women's inter-city clash.

From Roma v AC Milan on 1 April to AC Milan v Inter on the 22nd, 21 days have passed, three weeks of inactivity due to the Easter break and the rest period in the league. Inter are going through a difficult period: they have lost their last three Serie A matches and a total of four defeats in their last five matches, with 14 goals conceded. Since the start of the Championship Round, Rita Guarino's team is the only one not yet to have picked up a point in the standings and is fresh from a heavy 1-6 home defeat against Roma. The Nerazzurre's primary need is to find a reaction to this difficult juncture and Saturday's inter-city clash is an opportunity to do so.
