WOMEN, POMIGLIANO v AC MILAN: MATCH PREVIEW

Corti's team will be looking to continue their good form, breaking the last taboo of away victories in the league. The opportunity arises by returning to the region, Campania, where they secured their only away victory in the ongoing Serie A Women's season, against Napoli. To secure the three points and keep alive the pursuit of the Championship Round, the Rossonere can also rely on Nadia Nadim, called up for the match that will conclude AC Milan's January and ready to make her debut in the Italian league.

Noteworthy in this scenario are the departures during the winter transfer window of midfielder Tengue and forwards Bourgouin and, especially, Martínez, their top scorer with three goals this season (including one in the first leg match). In a team that has also changed its coaching staff since last October - Caruso replacing the Spanish Contreras Oliveira - the Iberian Buhigas remains in goal, the central pair Apicella-Caiazzo, midfielders Di Giammarino (the only one on a warning) and Rabot in the middle, along with the creativity of the Argentine Ippólito in the attacking midfielder position.
