AC MILAN WOMEN TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO FOR HER NATIONS TOUR

AC Milan is pleased to announce the participation of the Women's First Team in the Her Nations Tour friendly tournament, which will take place in Mexico from 9 June to 16 June. The journey to North America will mark the first post-season tour in the history of AC Milan Women and will officially conclude the 2023/24 football season for the team.

Her Nations Tour is a new tournament that will see three football clubs - AC Milan, Club Rayadas de Monterrey and Tuzas de Pachuca - compete in a series of friendly matches in Mexico. In addition to representing high-level sporting competition for the teams involved, the tournament also aims to promote the growth of women's football globally, with the goal of realizing its full potential through the power of women's players worldwide, as best expressed in the tournament's official motto, "This is Her Sport, this is Her Tour – it's time to change the game."

The tournament will also be an important opportunity to promote values ​​such as inclusion and equality in the international football landscape - values ​​that have always been shared by the AC Milan family and further concretized through the creation of the Women's First Team in 2018.

With participation in the Her Nations Tour, AC Milan Women will return to the American continent after having already competed in August 2022 in the Women's Cup in Louisville, United States – a tournament that ended for the Rossonere with the Third-Place Final lost to Club America.

This tour will therefore be a new opportunity for AC Milan to enhance its women's team, creating new opportunities for growth from a sporting and international visibility perspective, in a country that demonstrates great passion for the red and black colours. Specifically, AC Milan boasts approximately 23.7 million Rossoneri fans in the country, with 1.9 million followers on the Club's official social media.

Wednesday, June 12, 2024 - vs Club Rayadas de Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon
The first match on Mexican soil will see the Rossonere face Club Rayadas de Monterrey on Wednesday, 12 June at the BBVA Stadium, the new stadium in Monterrey with 50,000 seats.

Saturday, June 15, 2024 - vs Tuzas de Pachuca in Pachuca, Hidalgo
Davide Corti's team will then fly to Pachuca for the second match of the friendly tournament, which will take place on Saturday, 15 June at the Hidalgo Stadium, when the team will take the field against Tudos de Pachuca.
