WOMEN, AC MILAN v COMO: MATCH PREVIEW

After three weeks, Davide Corti's AC Milan Women are back at home. The Rossonere host Como Women in what will be the last all-Lombardy clash this season, an important opportunity to put the draw against Pomigliano behind them and get back to winning ways. Como brings happy memories for the Rossonere who have won their last two meetings with the side (both in 2024) with 7 goals. The draw against Pomigliano ended a run of six consecutive wins, but the Rossonere also showed their scoring capabilities in Campania and in general, constant improvements in attack. The aim will be to finish the Relegation Round with three wins, and a positive result against the Comasche will assure sixth spot.

Coached by Stefano Maccoppi since the end of March, this run of results has seen them overtake the Doriane in the table. Recent games have seen different stars of the Como Women side: two goals each for Swedish player Karlenäs and Finnish player (on loan from AC Milan) Sevenius; one each for Martinovic and Kaján. To note is also that the Comasche have also won this season in Milan with a 3-2 victory over Inter in February.
