THE ROSSONERE TO FACE BARCELONA IN THE WOMEN'S JOAN GAMPER TROPHY

At 20:00 CEST on Friday 23 August, at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, the Rossonere will face Barcelona in the fourth edition of the women's "Joan Gamper Trophy".

Part of the team's pre-season preparations, this prestigious clash will pit together two iconic clubs in the form of AC Milan and FC Barcelona, both of whom were founded in 1899 and will celebrate their historic 125th anniversaries this year.

Coach Suzanne Bakker's players will be able to see what shape they're in and try out certain playing patterns while playing a high-intensity match against a side with a huge football tradition, including in the women's game.

Before the game in the Gamper Trophy, there will be the Soccer Champions Tour meeting between AC Milan and Barcelona's men's teams on 6 August in Baltimore, a match that is also part of the 125th anniversary celebrations.
