With control, youth and personality! It was an immense performance from the Rossonere at the PUMA House of Football in a 3-1 win over Roma, continuing our good record against the Giallorosse with our 3-2 win in our last meeting. Di Ijeh, Dompig and Arrigoni scored the goals that decided the match, which turned the game around after Viens' early opener. After three consecutive draws against Fiorentina, Juventus and Inter, AC Milan found their first win in the Championship Round, against the champions of Italy from Rome. Bakker's side remain unbeaten in this round and they will have a little rest before preparing for the next match, again at the PUMA House of Football, against Fiorentina on 12 April.

As previously said, this proves the great improvement of this team in this second half of the season, with both greater team and individual play and more ease in Coach Bakker's system. There has only been one defeat in 2025 (against Juventus) and many more good signs: Arrigoni's moment of magic, the scorer of an amazing goal in the 95th minute, but also Sorelli's solidity, Renzotti's relentlessness as well as the speed and attacking connection between Dompig and Ijeh. The team are performing well, they are united and their enthusiasm is palpable: let's move forward like this to reach new goals and to set up well for our future.

    MATCH REPORT
A great first half which was balanced and full of chances. The Rossonere had a chance straight away through Arrigoni, with a "moving" strike which the Giallorosse managed to clear. And yet, in the 4th minute, the guests opened the scoring through Viens, who made the most of Piga's poor clearance, finding the back of the net. Straight after the goal, Bakker's girls reacted well and they piled the pressure on Roma, largely thanks to an inspired performance from Dompig. The Dutch baller created a great chance for Cernoia in the 13th minute, but it was saved by the keeper. The Rossonere's equaliser came in the 28th minute through Ijeh, who converted a rebound from Koivisto's effort, inside the box following Dompig's great work in the build-up.

The second half got going with a great chance for Roma on the right through Giuliano, who just missed the target from Haavi's cross. AC Milan, however, got a hold of the game, and just after an hour of play, Dompig completed the turnaround with a great goal, when she caught everyone off-guard with her first-time finish: 2-1 to the Rossonere! The goal opened up spaces in the midfield and AC Milan tried to exploit this with Dompig and Renzotti's pace. Roma used their experience and they came close in the 75th minute through Giacanti who couldn't get the better of Giuliani in a one-v-one. Giacanti threatened again in the 79th minute, but Sorelli blocked her effort. Arrigoni sealed the deal in the 95th minute with a stunning left-footed strike that nestled precisely into the top corner. Game, set and match Milan!
