AC Milan Primavera recorded their first draw of the season after a goalless game against Roma at Vismara. The Rossoneri went toe to toe with the team of the season so far and looked both attentive and coordinated at the back and creative and lively going forward. There were plenty of positives for Coach Giunti's boys, starting with the first clean sheet in four games.
Jens Petter Hauge, who was lent to the Primavera given his absence from the Europa League squad, also put in an extremely positive performance. The Norwegian was at the heart of everything good that the Rossoneri produced. Stanga also had a good game following his return to the team after injury. AC Milan now move on to Sunday's fixture away at Genoa at 10:30 CET.

Coach Giunti was able to call upon Roback and Stanga, both of whom missed the Fiorentina game, and also had Jens Petter Hauge at his disposal. It took just 60 seconds for AC Milan to produce the first chance of the game. Roback dribbled past two defenders but put his shot wide of the mark. Roma were close to taking the lead in the 29th minute but Milanese hit the post. AC Milan reacted well; two minutes later, Hauge fed Frigerio, who couldn't hit the target.
At the start of the second half, AC Milan looked to get on the front foot through captain Brambilla, who tests the Giallorossi's goalkeeper from range. In the 63rd minute, Giunti's boys created their most clear-cut chance of the match; Hauge took a quick free-kick and found Mionić, who forced Mastrantonio into a brilliant save with a shot on the turn. Roma responded well by hitting the post again, this time through Darboe. A few minutes later, Roback fired over the bar. The Rossoneri were full of belief, pressed higher and had another go through Hauge and substitute Saco, while the Giallorossi responded through Podgoreanu, whose effort went over the crossbar. The final chance of the game fell to Obaretin, who fired over from Hauge's corner. It ended goalless.
