A comeback draw in Sassuolo for AC Milan Primavera, who rise to 28 points in the standings at the end of a game of two halves: the 1-1 final score is still a positive result for Coach Giunti’s boys, who grew over the 90 minutes against a direct competitor in the race for the Scudetto Playoffs. The goal came from the recovered Giacomo Olzer, who marked his return to action after two months out with his seventh goal of the season.
The goal for the Rossoneri number 10 was one of the happiest notes for the Coach, who will also be pleased with the excellent performance of the defence, starting with Jungdal, who was decisive on several occasions in the second half. The only sour note was a convulsive finale in which the Rossoneri could have taken the lead, but instead, they finished with nine men, the injured Kerkez also among them, stoically on the pitch until the final whistle. Next up for the Rossoneri is an away match at Empoli, on Sunday 2 May at 10.30 CEST.

MATCH REPORT
Giacomo Olzer was back on the pitch for the Rossoneri, completing an attacking trident alongside El Hilali and Nasti, while Saco replaced the absent captain Brambilla in the middle. A lot of studying of the opposition between the two teams in the opening minutes of the match, which flowed away without any real chances for either side. The game opened up in the 15th minute with Sassuolo taking the advantage through Mattioli, who was quick to deflect an Artioli free-kick into the net. AC Milan responded with the Olzer-El Hilali combination: on 23 minutes Youns played in Jack who was stopped in the box before getting his shot away; In the 38th minute the roles were reversed, with Olzer crossing from the left for El Hilali who cushioned the ball well on his chest but was not able to produce a finish.
The second half was vastly different. The first chance fell the way of the Rossoneri, who drew level at 1-1 with an Olzer goal in the 52nd minute after he rose highest in the box to head home a corner kick. The hosts’ reaction came two minutes later when Saccani hit the post, but the goal seemed to spur on AC Milan who came close to taking the lead with Nasti in the 58th minute. The match went on, and it was Jungdal who saved the Rossoneri on two occasions, in the 73rd and then the 80th minute, denying Manara on both occasions. The Rossoneri were brought down to ten for the end of the game after an injury occurred to Kerkez who had been playing excellently, before a fiery period of stoppage time. The first sending off came in the 94th minute for a second yellow card to Mionić. Right at the end, a great chance fell for El Hilali, who was set free on the counterattack but stopped in a dubious way in midfield by Vitale. The referee did not blow his whistle but rather expelled Youns for protesting. It finished 1-1.
