It was a goal-fest for AC Milan Primavera, who saw off Bologna at the Niccolò Galli Training Centre at Casteldebole. The Rossoneri continued their good run of form in Primavera 1 as they dream of finishing in the playoff places. That Derby defeat is now well and truly behind us. Giunti's boys put in a gutsy and enthusiastic performance as they are now putting together a run of good results. The Rossoneri played some lovely football and looked dangerous throughout the 90 minutes.
AC Milan's five goals were scored by four different players: Nasti got the ball rolling with a brace, Nsiala then bagged his first goal in a Rossoneri shirt; in the second half, Traorè and Robotti got goals four and five. The Rossoneri thus ended the girone di andata in the best way possible and will get back to work with plenty of enthusiasm. On 13 February, we go up against Sassuolo.

REPORT
The Rossoneri started strongly, twice testing Bagnolini inside the first ten minutes. Our boys didn't let up and took a swift two-goal lead: Marco Nasti needed just five minutes to bag his brace. First, he went one-on-one with Bagnolini and stuck it between the keeper's legs, he then turned home Traorè's ball in to double AC Milan's lead. Bologna pulled one back through Raimondo, who profited from an error by Pseftis (28'). Nsiala restored the two-goal cushion at the half wound to a close, slotting it into the back of the net following an error by Bagnolini at the corner.
The spectacle recommenced with the game being played the same frenetic tempo as the first half. In the 65th minute, Traorè was brought down in the penalty area and then stepped up and slotted the spot-kick home to make it 4-1 AC Milan Primavera kept up their intensity and, in the 69th minute, did make it five through Robotti. A penalty scored by Pyyhtiä three minutes later was merely a consolation for the hosts; Pseftis went the right way but couldn't keep it out. Stanga was then sent off for a second bookable offence late on. Full time and three points.
POST-MATCH
Coach Giunti after the game: "Bologna had won their last two games and have been playing some really good football lately. We decided to try and dictate the game from the first minute, which paid off with the two early goals. We then consolidated our position in the second half when we managed to put together some good attacks and wrap up the points. It was a positive performance from all of the lads involved; I loved the attitude throughout the 90. The only negative is the sending off to Stanga at the end."
