THE RESULTS FROM THE WEEKEND: U16S AND U15S INTO THE FINAL
Youth Teams
Two Rossoneri youth teams are celebrating making the Scudetto Final. Indeed, the U16s and U15s recorded second-leg victories in the semi-finals, thus building on their first-leg wins. Coach Abate’s side ran out 3-0 winners over Vicenza at Vismara, with goals from Martinazzi, Mancioppi and Vitali seeing them deservedly progress. Bertuzzo’s U15s, meanwhile, made it through thanks to Sala’s late goal following a hard-fought battle away to Roma.
The women’s U15s also achieved what they set out to do. A 2-0 success away to Cesena sealed top spot in Group 2, with the team now ready to compete in the Final Eight. The men’s U17s suffered a narrow defeat to Bologna in Fermo.
