The Rossoneri were unable to redeem the defeat suffered in the first leg and came away pointless from the Tre Fontane stadium in Rome at the end of a balanced match full of ups and downs. At the home of the Giallorossi, the Rossoneri interpreted the match better overall and, after a first half with a moderate pace of play, they pushed with continuity and energy in the second half, finding the equaliser and going ahead with goals from Diego Sia and Dariusz Stalmach in the space of eight minutes. In the final, however, Roma's clinicality was enough to make the final breakthrough, a comeback that forced AC Milan into a 3-2 defeat on the 26th matchday of Primavera 1.
Character and determination were not enough for Coach Abate's side, who maintained a positive attitude throughout the match and would certainly have deserved another result for what they showed on the pitch. The result away to Roma leaves AC Milan in 15th in the standings, but still within touching distance of their rivals ahead of them in the table up to tenth place. The calendar offers a chance for redemption in the very near future: Saturday 15 April at 15:00 CEST at the PUMA House of Football comes the match against Torino, then it will be time to turn our focus to the Final Four of the UEFA Youth League.

MATCH REPORT
Balance and few chances for both sides characterised the start of the match. The first ringing came from the hosts with Pisilli's right-footed shot from long range in the 12th minute, while the Rossoneri responded a minute later with a combination between El Hilali and Sia - blocked at the decisive moment. AC Milan came close to scoring with Cuenca's deflected left-footed shot, and in the 27th minute the Giallorossi took the lead with Pisilli's cross from the three-quarter box and Misitano's winning header past Nava. AC Milan, however, remained in the game and built up two chances, once again driven by Hugo Cuenca: in the 39th minute the assist was for Sia, who missed the target from an excellent position, and in the 40th minute the Paraguayan found El Hilali in the box, who sent it over with his left. 1-0 at half-time.
The first chances of the second half were also in the hands of the Rossoneri: in the 52nd minute Gala tried to wake AC Milan with a shot from distance that finished over Baldi's crossbar, in the 57th minute Cuenca's volley on Sia's invitation was blocked by Falasca. In the 65th minute came the deserved equalizer for the Rossoneri: Bakoune burst down the line and crosseded into the middle, Sia was on time and scored the 1-1. The crossbar hit by El Hilali on a free-kick (69') anticipated Stalmach's overtaking move, and in the 73rd minute he unleashed a violent left-footer that went into the corner, leaving Baldi no chance. The Giallorossi poured forward and got back into the game with Cassano's left-footed shot from the edge of the box (76 minutes), before taking the lead again: Bozzolan clashed with Keramitsis and the referee awarded a penalty, Pagano dispatching Nava from the spot. The final push did not reward the Rossoneri, and it ended 3-2.
