We’re running out of words to describe our Primavera. Only compliments and thanks for entertaining us so much. A victory of character, extremely deserved even if it came in the dying seconds. After yet another great test this season, Abate’s Rossoneri overcame Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 on Matchday 4 of the Youth League, making up for their loss in the first fixture, and earning crucial points in the group. A spectacular first half, with the Rossoneri taking an immediate two-goal advantage before the opponents brought it back in the middle of the second half; it was Sia who had the final say though. What excitement at the PUMA House of Football. Diego’s 94th-minute goal showcased his striker instincts as the team, bench and stadium erupted with joy.

Speaking of goals, highlighting Nsiala’s for 1-0 (his second in a row at home), Nhaga and Adonis’ for 2-1 and 2-2 but we have to bring Francesco Camardo’s beauty under the spotlight. A marvellous acrobatic stunt on a special stage, never to be forgotten. To be watched and watched again. Unique. Three massive points for the Group F standings: the Rossoneri, also thanks to the draw between Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle (2-2), fly to the top with 9 points, 2 more than the Germans and 3 over the French. An afternoon to be framed before thinking back to the league: next is AC Milan vs Lecce on Sunday 12 November at 10:45 CET. The Rossoneri’s next European fixture will be AC Milan vs. Borussia Dortmund on 28 November at 14:30, in which the Rossoneri could secure qualification. Proud of you!

    MATCH REPORT
After a surging run from Sangaré in the fifth minute, AC Milan, hungry and ruthless, went into overdrive with 120 seconds. Nsiala found the advantage in the 8th minute, scoring with his head from Bonomi’s corner. In the 10th minute, Camarda doubled our advantage, with an incredible overhead kick into the corner from Scotti’s cross. Congratulations. A deadly double blue but the boys were not satisfied there, keeping the goalkeeper busy: he had to save from Sala’s right foot in the 12th minute, 13’ he cleared Bakoune’s shot from the edge of the box, in the 27th minute he saved Sala’s close-range effort and then his left-footed shot in the 31st. In the 33rd minute Bakoune crossed it in for Traoré who made it to the ball but wasted the effort. Paris Saint-Germain found some life towards the end of the half as Bakoune had to intervene from Bensoula. In injury time, Nhaga reduced the deficit (47’), finding the net with a glancing header to round off the first half.

The stumble at the death of the first half advised more care and caution at the start of the second half. The match slowed down after the break, excluding our few breaks: in the 51st minute, Bakoune’s ball for Bonomi’s weak header, 55’ Jiménez couldn’t find the target and in the 63rd minute, Bonomi could not keep his shot on target. The Frenchmen managed to always remain in the game, putting up a fight despite barely threatening the Rossonero rearguard. In the 66th minute, they got their reward, drawing level thanks to Mbaye’s cross and Adonis’ tap-in amongst a scramble at the goalmouth. An injustice that threatened to crush Rossonero hopes, the chances become fewer and farther between but the Diavolo never died. In a lively, nervy final minutes (94’) Sia shot and thanks to the deflection off Malaspina’s head, 3-2 fulltime.
