THE WEEKEND'S SCHEDULE: U15, THE FINAL ACT

    Youth TeamsJune 19th 2026

15 minutes of fire, 15 minutes for the victory, for the top spot in the group, and for the round of 16. The Primavera suffered at the start of the match but made a massive comeback to beat Borussia Dortmund 4-1, scoring all 4 goals between the 24th and 39th minute. Zeroli, Scotti (brace), and Sia responded to Rijkhoff's early, and rather surprising, opener, to turn the match around and dominate the game that looked like it wouldn't go their way. It was a great team performance, showing their skill of holding it together after the initial disappointment and continuing to play for the equaliser which scuppered the German lead, paving the way to a Rossoneri victory.

The Rossoneri started with competitive fury and aggression, hoping to recover after the league defeat to Cagliari and above all else, secure qualification with the help of PSG's defeat to Newcastle at the same time. The drama at the PUMA House of Football this afternoon saw Abate's Rossoneri first seal the win, qualify for the round of 16, and also guarantee them a top-spot finish in Group F, having won 5 more points than Borussia Dortmund and 6 more than PSG. Now the focus will be back on the league campaign and the upcoming clash against Lazio.

    MATCH REPORT
The visitors' first chance resulted in them taking an immediate lead, thanks to Rijkhoff's header assisted by Banda. Despite many of their players missing out on the game, the Germans approached the match well and caused the Rossoneri trouble with their attackers. Eventually, though, suffering greatly from the AC Milan initiative. The first Rossoneri opportunity came in the 13th minute through Zeroli, who volleyed in an excellent cross from Magni, forcing Lisewski to make a great save. In the 24th minute, the equaliser rewarded AC Milan's offensive pressure. Zeroli took control of the ball in the box and slotted into the near post to make it 1-1. AC Milan quickly doubled down, and Scotti reacted rapidly to shoot on the rebound in the 28th minute. Scotti scored again in the 31st minute, bagging a brace and making it 3-1, finishing off a great move by Magni and once again highlighting the guests' defensive struggle.

Before the whistle could blow for the end of the first half, the Rossoneri Primavera managed to find the time to score a fourth goal. This time it was Diego Sia who jumped high enough to get his head on Magni's cross from the left. 4-1 in the 39th minute, and the game was almost surely put to bed. In the 44th minute, Bakoune hit the crossbar from outside the area, the last attempt of the first half. In fact, the second half was much slower, Abate made four changes and the team managed to hold onto the lead to seal the result and qualify, without facing any major threats in the process. Sia again in the 63rd minute came close to making it 5-1 but, fed by Hugo Cuenca, his shot flew over the bar. In the final minutes, Simmelhack tried to profit on a couple of chances, but Borussia Dortmund kept him out. The second half ends the same as the first at 4-1.
