The big match on matchday 25 of the championship ended with an undeserved defeat for Milan Primavera. Sassuolo won 1-0 thanks to a goal by Daldum, scored in the 87th minute. A goal that broke the deadlock that seemed headed for a fair draw, but the final twist by the Neroverdi cost Guidi's Rossoneri a defeat. At the PUMA House of Football, the two teams struggled to build up their offence, but there were plenty of chances, especially in the first half. For us, the best chances fell to Sala and Liberali.

The defeat didn't compromise the Rossoneri's progress in this championship, and after 25 matchdays they are still firmly in the top six of the league table, which means they will qualify for the playoffs. Worthy of note, in the final stages of the match, is the debut of Levis Asanji, a striker born in 2006 who arrived a few days ago. He played for a few minutes to get to know the team and the league. The season is hotting up and the next fixture is just around the corner: they're back on the pitch on Wednesday at 13:00 CET away against Cagliari, on matchday 26.

    MATCH REPORT
The Rossoneri were the better side in the early stages of the match and often had Sassuolo on the ropes, forcing them to react defensively. Chances, although not very clear-cut, soon arrived. The first came from Sala's left foot, which controlled Liberali's through ball in the box and turned, from a difficult position, to shoot, balancing precariously without finding the target. Liberali, after his first attempt as playmaker, went at it alone in the 29th minute and made an attempt, at the end of a remarkable individual play. Sassuolo were up for it though and responded in the 33rd minute with a left-footer from Knezovic, who got past Longoni and hit the post. Longoni redeemed himself later with a couple of providential saves, which kept the score at 0-0 at halftime.

The second half started with a substitution for us, Parmiggiani in for Duțu. The first attempt of the second half was again ours, with Sala entering the area and shooting high with his right. After Sala, Liberali again: a low and insidious free kick from the right by the number 10, but Scacchetti found it there and made the save. There was a dangerous counterattack by the visitors in the 70th minute, but Longoni was alert to Knezovic's shot. Ossola and Asanji came on in the final minutes, and the fresh 18-year-old Lorenzo immediately had a shot from the edge of the box, unfortunately high. Defeat came in the 87th minute, when Daldum went around Parmiggiani at the near post and beat Longoni: 0-1 Sassuolo.
