THE WEEKEND'S SCHEDULE: U15, THE FINAL ACT

    Youth TeamsJune 19th 2026

Unity, character, teamwork. In a complicated and crucial period, the Primavera showed real strength and solidity to beat Lazio 2-0 away from home. Without a win since mid-March, the young Rossoneri put in heart, sweat and pride to overcome the hurdles in their way and pick up three crucial points in the league. It was a fighting performance full of sacrifice, pragmatism and intelligence. AC Milan struck when it mattered most, in injury time at the end of the first half through Paloschi and then midway through the second half through Liberali.

Hats off to Coach Guidi’s boys, who licked their wounds and gave 100% in difficult circumstances against an improving Biancocelesti side. The Rossoneri had to deal with many forced absences but, as always, the collective stepped up, making the difference in a positive way. It was a crucial match, practically a play-off decider to keeper our hopes alive. It went well for our Primavera, who, after matchday 35, sit in seventh place on 55 points, one adrift of the play-off zone. Our U20s will return to action when they face bottom-of-the-table Udinese at 11:00 CEST on Sunday 4 May. It’s another match where full focus will be required.

    MATCH REPORT
Both teams started the match in aggressive fashion in terms of attitude, but chances were initially few and far between: in the first quarter of the match, Liberali was the only one to really threaten with a blocked left-footed shot. In the 27th minute, D'Agostini fired narrowly off target for the hosts. There was another scare two minutes later as Pittarella saved a Bordon header. After opportunities for Liberali and Milani, AC Milan went on the counter in the 41st minute: Ossola found Scotti, who failed to add the finish. Then, in stoppage time, Bonomi sent in a free-kick that was flicked into the net by Paloschi.

Lazio looked lively at the start of the second half, but Bonomi and Sala continued to pose an attacking threat. The action was back-and-forth, and, when the first substitutions were made, the Rossoneri picked up the pace. A Scotti backheel from a Liberali cross went wide (62’), while Perrucci - again set up by Liberali - was foiled by the opposition defence. The Diavolo were pushing and finally doubled their advantage through the inspired Liberali, who fired a low shot past Renzetti with his left foot (70’). The Devil coasted through the final stages and almost scored a third through Sala, who hit the post in the 84th minute. Full-time.
