In Carate Brianza, Giovanni Renna's AC Milan Primavera beat Napoli 2-1 on matchday 26 of the Primavera 1 division, following up their 2-1 away victory over Genoa. After a first half where the Rossoneri had plenty of possession but created few clear-cut chances, Filippo Scotti took centre stage after the restart. His free-kick into the top corner was a masterpiece of precision and power, and his second goal, finishing a counter-attack orchestrated to perfection, was the icing on the cake of a fantastic individual performance.

Late in the game, Gorica's penalty brought the Partenopei back into the contest, but the Rossoneri held firm, showing composure and maturity. Scotti, with his decisive brace, continued scintillating form, while Bouyer was a solid presence between the sticks, shutting down the few Napoli opportunities and only conceding from the spot. The Rossoneri move up to 37 points in the table, where they sit on the fringes of the playoff places. Their next challenge is an away trip to league leaders Roma, another key fixture in their season.

    MATCH REPORT
It was a lively start at the Sportitalia Village: in the fifth minute, Scotti drove at Eletto, cut inside, and curled a shot narrowly past the post. Napoli responded through Cimmaruta, who controlled with the sole of his boot before firing over. There was a scare for the Rossoneri in the 16th minute: Cissé lost the ball in the box, but Bouyer rushed out to make a sprawling save on Borriello. The ball looped up, and Raggioli's overhead kick was off target. AC Milan responded as Zaramella found Borsani, whose left-footed effort went over. In the 22nd minute, Idrissi hit a crisp hot, only for Ferrante to react sharply and keep it out. Late in the half, Torre caused problems from a corner, but the Rossoneri defence cleared. The first half ended goalless.

AC Milan opened the scoring shortly after the restart: a free-kick from the edge of the box saw Scotti curl an unstoppable effort into the top corner to make it 1-0 in the 47th minute. Napoli tried to respond, with Bouyer denying Raggioli and Baridò shooting inches wide. AC Milan pushed forward again: Scotti fed Zaramella, who narrowly missed the target. The latter was then thwarted by Ferrante following a move orchestrated by Perera. In the 77th minute, a swift break saw Borsani release Scotti, who squared to Domniței. The striker managed to return the ball to Scotti, who calmly slotted into an empty for the Rossoneri's second. Napoli looked to respond: Borriello broke into the box and fired a powerful shot from a tight angle, only for it to hit the crossbar. In the 87th minute, a penalty was awarded for a foul on Gorica, who converted to make it 2-1. Renna's boys then saw out the final minutes with composure, securing a win and three important points.
