Milan Primavera’s positive run came to an end after two consecutive victories, as the Rossoneri were beaten at the Tre Fontane by Roma thanks to Morucci’s goal late in the first half. It was a tight, cagey match with few chances and limited excitement, and in truth the result reflected what unfolded on the pitch, with the hosts creating the greater number of scoring opportunities. The energy brought on by the substitutes was not enough to change the course of a game that leaves our position in the standings unchanged.
The result was significant for Roma, however, as the three points took them to the top of what remains a close-fought league table where everything is still to be decided. An awareness of just how close the league is at this stage must be one of the foundations from which our boys restart, as they push for a Playoff place that remains just one victory away. Trusting in the qualities of a group that has consistently shown its ability to react, to put disappointments behind it and to grow from setbacks, attention now turns to this month's upcoming fixtures, starting with the midweek round on Thursday, when we will host Cremonese at 16:00 CET.

It was Roma who set the tempo early on at the Tre Fontane, though their possession did not produce many clear-cut chances. The first real opportunity arrived after 28 minutes, when Morucci was sent through but failed to beat Bouyer one-on-one as the goalkeeper came out quickly. Milan Primavera responded in the 34th minute when Domnitei laid the ball centrally for Scotti, but his effort was deflected, and on the counter that followed, Almaviva fired over from a promising position. Roma's breakthrough came 4 minutes later: Almaviva shot across goal, Bouyer parried but could not hold on to it, and Morucci reacted fastest to turn home the rebound for Roma.
The second half began slowly, with the only change being Idrissi on for Domnitei. The Rossoneri grew into the game and came close in the 62nd minute when Mancioppi’s powerful effort was beaten away by Kilvinger. Roma then threatened again through Della Rocca, denied by a sharp Bouyer save. The closing stages were tense but without many clear chances. After 81 minutes Borsani produced a dangerous left-footed cross, only for Scotti's late run to be intercepted at the last moment by Seck. Milan Primavera pushed during the five minutes of added time, yet were unable to find an equaliser and the match ended 1-0 to Roma.
