AC Milan secured a 5-1 victory over AlbinoLeffe on Matchday 10 of the 2026/27 Primavera 1 season, thanks to an Ibrahimović brace and goals from Balentien, Anastasio and Zaramella. It was the Rossoneri's third consecutive win in all competitions, including the Coppa Italia, and their second five-goal performance in as many weeks following last week's victory over Monza. The result takes AC Milan to 21 points in the standings, with a game in hand on their rivals.
Just like at Monzello, four different players got on the scoresheet against AlbinoLeffe. Zaramella and Anastasio were among the scorers again, with the latter finding the net for the fourth consecutive league game following his goals against Cagliari, Fiorentina and Monza. The other two scorers were Balentien and Ibrahimović, both brought into the starting lineup by Renna after the previous league fixture. Balentien scored his first Primavera goal of the season, while Ibrahimović netted his first two goals in a Rossoneri shirt. Matchday 11 takes AC Milan to Rome on November 22nd, where they will face the as yet unbeaten league leader Lazio. It promises to be a tough test, but the Rossoneri head into the game full of confidence.

MATCH REPORT
Renna made just two changes to the starting lineup that beat Monza, bringing in Ibrahimović and Balentien. Both decisions paid off almost immediately. Balentien opened the scoring after just six minutes, controlling the ball, turning towards goal and finishing with his left foot to make it 1-0. Just a minute later, Zaramella struck the post after another high turnover won by the Dutchman. In the tenth minute, Balentien played Ibrahimović through inside the box, where the midfielder held off his defender before scoring his first goal for the Rossoneri. Balentien had another attempt on goal, while Cullotta had two chances of his own. At the other end, Rinaldi and Botti led AlbinoLeffe's early attacks. The visitors grew into the game, with Gamba pulling one back in the 32nd minute before Giordano and Colombi created further chances. Ibrahimović, however, restored the Rossoneri’s two-goal cushion in the 38th minute, once again shielding the ball well before firing home his second of the afternoon. The Rossoneri headed into halftime leading 3-1.
The second half began with the same high tempo and physical battles, with AlbinoLeffe looking to get back into the game and AC Milan refusing to simply sit back and protect its lead. Catalano made a save from Gamba, while Generali denied Balentien. From the resulting corner, however, AC Milan struck again in the 64th minute after Anastasio met a cross from substitute Angelicchio with a well-timed run to score for the fourth consecutive league game. After making it 4-1, the forward went close again but missed the target. Just four minutes later, though, he provided an assist, picking out Zaramella inside the box for a one-on-one finish that made it 5-1. The chances kept coming throughout the final half-hour, with Balentien and substitutes Petrone and Grassini among the players making attempts on goal. AlbinoLeffe also ventured forward on occasion, but without seriously troubling Catalano. At the final whistle, the Rossoneri celebrated another victory, having scored ten goals across their last two matches.
POST-MATCH STATEMENTS
"Beyond just the result, we also showed consistency in the way we play," said Coach Renna. "We created plenty of chances and kept possession well when we needed to. I have to give the players credit because, both when it was 0-0 and when we were ahead, we never lost our composure. We tried to play our own game and impose our style on the match, and we succeeded. We need to keep working hard and supporting these young players as they develop towards senior football. Now our focus turns straight to Lazio."
“Every game is important and worth three points. We got the win today, so we couldn't have asked for more," added Vincent Ibrahimović, who scored a brace. "I've worked hard for a day like this, but what matters most is that we all worked well together as a team. If we stay focused and keep working as we have over the last three games, we can win them all. We just need to keep it up."
