The Monte Carlo draw has laid out the fixtures for the 2026/27 UEFA Europa League, which gets underway in mid-September with the League Phase. Rúben Amorim's AC Milan will host Benfica, Ferencváros, Sunderland and Ararat-Armenia, while their four away fixtures will see them face Olympiacos, Salzburg, Bournemouth and Levski Sofia.
FORMAT
The UEFA Europa League format features a single 36-team League Phase. Each team will play eight matches against eight different opponents, four at home and four away. The top eight will qualify directly for the round of 16, while the teams finishing ninth to 24th will enter the two-legged knockout phase play-offs, with the second leg hosted by the team that finished higher in the League Phase. The winners will progress to the round of 16, after which the competition continues in a knockout format. The final will take place at Frankfurt's Waldstadion on Wednesday 26 May 2027.
