Three matches, seven points, eight goals scored and three conceded: AC Milan's Under-17s have made a positive start to the league season and remain unbeaten. After opening with a 2-2 draw against Venezia, the Rossoneri claimed back-to-back wins, beating Vicenza 3-1 and Monza 3-0 last weekend. "Rather than a new beginning, I would describe it as a continuation of the work we started last season," said Coach Marco Parolo, who is in his first year at this age level after leading the Under-16s in 2025/26.
"The core of the group has remained largely unchanged, both in terms of players and staff, with Visconti joining as assistant coach. That allows us to continue a development process that was already underway," he continued. "Our aim is to help the players improve and to build a balanced squad in which everyone gets opportunities and can play a leading role. We always try to put each player in the best possible position to express themselves and develop."
The Under-17s have often served as a gateway to the older age groups in recent seasons, not only the Under-18s but especially the Primavera and Milan Futuro. "It is the final step," said Parolo. "Our aim is to prepare the players so they are ready when the opportunity comes to move up and test themselves at an even higher level. Everything we do is geared toward that, guiding them through their development and allowing them to perform at their best."
"Results are not the main objective, but they should be a consequence of the work we do every day," Parolo concluded. This is therefore a key phase in bringing the players closer to the demands of senior football, step by step, as they progress toward increasingly competitive levels. With several younger players also being integrated, the daily work is focused not only on the present but also on the next stages of their development.
