SERIE A WOMEN, AC MILAN vs. INTER: MATCH PREVIEW

The derby is both a test and an opportunity. The Rossonere are looking to bounce back after their away defeat to Como Women. Facing Inter at home and trying to take all three points could be the best way to do it. Ahead of the match, here’s a preview of the big clash on Matchday 6 of Serie A Women, scheduled for Saturday, November 7th, at 3:00 PM CET at the PUMA House of Football.

THE LATEST FROM PUMA HOUSE OF FOOTBALL
Coach Bakker's Rossonere are still searching for consistency and looking to reduce the ups and downs in their performances. Overall, the team’s performance has never been lacking, which is promising. That was also the case in Como last weekend. Despite the defeat, which came courtesy of a moment of brilliance from Bernardi, AC Milan played well and created chances. The response to going behind was particularly impressive, with opportunities for Sesay and Stokić before Nevado's big chance late in the game. The focus now is on working hard, improving and tightening up defensively to climb out of the middle of the table. Mascarello and Piga remain unavailable.

THE LATEST FROM INTER
The Nerazzurre are establishing themselves as one of the leading forces in Serie A Women. After finishing second last season, Inter currently sits second again in the 2026/27 standings, two points off the top. Inter is still unbeaten in league play, having recorded a 3-0 win over Lazio, a 1-1 draw with Napoli, a 3-0 win over Parma, a 2-0 victory over Como Women and a 2-0 win over Fiorentina. It is also the only team across Europe's top five leagues yet to concede a goal. In the Women's Champions League, meanwhile, Sassarini's side is in the playoff places with four points from three matches. Bugeja, the team's leading striker, is one to watch.
