Krzysztof Piątek joins AC Milan

AC Milan is delighted to announce the acquisition of Krzysztof Piątek from Genoa Cricket and Football Club. The Polish forward has signed a contract with AC Milan until June 30, 2023.

Born in Dzierżoniów (Poland) on July 1st, 1995, Krzysztof Piątek started his career with Leichia Dzierżoniów. In 2013 he signed for Zagłębie Lubin (72 appearances, 15 goals) before joining KS Krakov in 2016 where he played for the next two seasons (32 goals in 63 appearances). At the start of this season, he joined Genoa CFC making 21 appearances (19 in the domestic championship and 2 in the Italian Cup) and scoring 19 goals (13 in Serie A and 6 in the Italian Cup).

Piątek’s press conference is set for tomorrow, Thursday, January 24 2019, at 1.00pm at Milanello. It will be broadcast live on the Club’s Channel “Milan TV”, will be live streamed in English on Facebook.com/acmilan and in Italian on Youtube.com/acmilan. After the press conference, Krzysztof will join his teammates for his first training session (scheduled at 3.30pm) as a red and black player.
