TRAINING IN GROUPS AS VERONA GAME APPROACHES

While waiting for the final international players to return, the Rossoneri were at work ahead of Verona v AC Milan

The second training session of the week took place this morning on Wednesday 11 September at Milanello. The team gathered at 10:00 CEST to start preparing for the next league match, which will be at 20:45 CEST on Sunday 15 September against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi. Sporting Director Frederic Massara was at Milanello to observe training.

TWO GROUPS
The squad was divided in two groups. The first had muscular activation work in the gym before heading out onto the pitch where they underwent a number of technical drills: getting away from defenders to set up shots on goal, one-twos before making the way into the box to get on the end of crosses and a series of shots from outside the area.

After completing a warm-up in the gym, the second group took to the pitch for a tactical session with a particular emphasis on defence. There was then a final practice match on a reduced section of the pitch before the players headed for the changing rooms.

THURSDAY 12 SEPTEMBER
Tomorrow, on Thursday 12 September, a double session is in store for the Rossoneri: the team will train at 10:30 CEST in the morning and 16:30 CEST in the afternoon.
