Coming from the star-shaped fortres town of Palmanova, Renzo Burini made his debut at Milan at only 20 years of age, getting off to a good start with a straightforward 8-1 win over Bari. During that match, the uncatchable, lightning quick winger scored an amazing brace. Extremely fast and with a great sense of goal, in the 1950/51 season he netted 12 goals helping Milan win the league title after a 44-year wait. A few days later he also contributed to the victory of the Latin Cup.
