Alphadjo Cisse was born in Treviso on October 22, 2006, to Guinean parents, and took his first steps in football with the Treviso-based club Indomita 21 and Giorgione. In 2020, he joined the Hellas Verona youth academy, making his debut for the Primavera squad at the age of 15 and four months. His development progressed rapidly, and on August 12, 2023, he made his professional debut in a Coppa Italia match against Ascoli. He made his Serie A debut on May 26, 2024 - the final matchday of the season - against Inter, and was officially promoted to the first team starting with the 2024/25 campaign. A major turning point in his career came in the summer of 2025 when he moved to Catanzaro on loan, impressing with an outstanding first half of the season that saw him score 6 goals in 22 appearances; these performances earned him a call-up from AC Milan, though he remained in Calabria for the remainder of a season that was hampered by injury from February onwards. His impact as a Rossonero was significant: he scored his first Serie A goal on his official debut against Torino on August 23, and followed it up two weeks later with another goal in Turin, this time against Juventus. His journey with Italy's youth national teams was also notable, as he played for the Under-16, Under-18, and Under-19 squads before making his Under-21 debut on November 14, 2025, coming on for Francesco Camarda in a European Championship qualifier against Poland. On October 1, 2026, he scored his first goal for the Under-21, a decisive strike that secured a victory over Armenia.
