At AC Milan since:2019

Ante Rebić was born in Split, Croatia, on 21 September 1993, and spent his footballing infancy with Vinjani and Imotski. He joined RNK Split, where he made his professional debut in 2011, before Fiorentina brought him to Italy in 2013. He only played one season with the Viola, and was sent out on loan to Leipzig (2014/15) and Hellas Verona (January 2016).

He made his breakthrough in his three-season Bundesliga stint at Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2016, where he churned out 100 appearances and got 25 goals and 12 assists. He became a permanent fixture in the Croatian National team (42 games and three goals at the end of Euro 2020) and played a starring role in the 2018 World Cup, in which Croatia lost to France in the final. He joined AC Milan in the summer of 2019 and had a breathtaking end to the season, grabbing twelve goals in total.

He continued this role of being a second half of the season star in the 2020/21 season. He opened his account in the pulsating pre-Christmas game against Lazio, and eventually finished up with ten goals for the season (all in Serie A), that launched the Rossoneri back into the Champions League. The highlights coincided with the first three days of May: first, the goal against Juventus, chosen by the Rossoneri supporters as goal of the season, and the hat-trick in the 7-0 thrashing of Torino. Due to some fitness issues, the 2021/22 season was a frustrating one, despite bagging the first Rossoneri Champions League goal in seven years in the rather unforgettable 1-1 draw at Liverpool. As of June 2022, he has appeared 92 times for AC Milan, scoring 26 goals in total.
