Born in 1983, Antonio Mirante brings with him a wealth of experience and class. He has totalled nearly 450 career appearances, mostly played in Serie A, the Champions League and the Europa League. Born in Castellammare di Stabia, he started in the junior teams at his hometown club, Juve Stabia, before moving to Sorrento Calcio. But it was in January 2000 when everything changed, as he signed for Juventus. He passed from the Primavera squad to the first team in the 2003/04 season.

It was from there that he set off on his "travels" around the peninsula. He first went on loan to Crotone (2004/05 in Serie B) and then Siena (2005/06), before returning to Juventus for their 2006/07 season in Serie B. Further experiences followed at Sampdoria (2007-2009), Parma (2009-2015), Bologna (2015-2018), and finally at Roma (2018-2021), before his move to the 2021/22 champions of Italy, AC Milan. He made his first official Rossoneri debut on 4 June 2023 in a 4-1 victory over Hellas Verona. He has never officially been capped for his country, but was called up to the Under-21 and first team squads in 2010 and 2019.
