Born on 4 October 2002 in Belgium, Aster Vranckx joined the Rossoneri from Wolfsburg on deadline day in summer 2022. A versatile player, Vranckx is capable of playing in any formation. He is physically imposing at 183cm and 78kg, tough to stop and technically gifted, allowing him to build up attacking moves, escape the press and drive the ball forward himself. After making his debut in the Jupiler Pro League with Mechelen, he spent last season in the Bundesliga and made his first appearances in the Champions League. Aster is a talent with a lot of potential and has been a regular fixture at youth level for Belgium up to the U21s, of whom he is the current captain.
