Born on 29 July 2000 in Vitry-sur-Seine, a French commune in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, Yacine Adli, who is right-footed, is capable of playing as a deep-lying playmaker, a mezzala or an attacking midfielder. He has real character and excellent vision, while he also possesses physical prowess (he's 1.86m tall) and is a very capable dribbler of the ball. Furthermore, he has a mean shot from distance.

Adli, who has Algerian origins, came through the youth ranks of Paris Saint-Germain before making his first-team debut in a 0-0 draw against Caen in Ligue 1 on 19 May 2018. In January 2019, he put pen to paper on a long-term contract with Bordeaux. After being signed by AC Milan in the summer of 2021, Yacine remained at the French club on loan. In total, he made 104 appearances for Bordeaux, scoring six times and registering 16 assists across four seasons. At international level, he's progressed his way through the France youth setup and is waiting to make his debut for the senior side.
