Lindsey Thomas was born in Saint-Claude, Guadeloupe, on 27 April 1995. She grew up in Terre-de-Haut, a little island of the archipelago of the Îles des Saintes, where she was the only girl to play football. In 2010, she joined Bordeaux-based side EJS Blanquefortaise, where she stayed for a single season, before signing for Montpellier, where she made her top-flight debut in 2012/13 and won the national youth championship on two occasions. She enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at FC Basel in 2015/16 (25 goals in 30 matches) and, after four further seasons in France spent between Montpellier, Bordeaux and Dijon, she arrived in Italy in 2019 after putting pen to paper on a deal with Roma. She remained at the Giallorosse for two seasons, netting 14 times in 49 games and winning the 2020/21 Coppa Italia after victory over AC Milan in the final. She arrived at the Rossonere ahead of the 2021/22 campaign and finished as the team's top goalscorer – 16 goals in 32 matches – in her first season at the Club. For France, she's enjoyed success at youth level, winning the European Under-19 Championship.
